About the Winery: Velenosi Vini

The Velenosi winery was founded in 1984 by the will of the very young entrepreneurs, Angela and Ercole Velenosi.

Over 35 years of experience in the sector and a strong passion have allowed Velenosi Vini to create exceptional wine.

The heart of the Company is located in the historic city of Ascoli Piceno, which is located in the Marche region at a distance of 20 km from the Adriatic Sea, at a height of 150/200 meters above sea level. From the beginning, the winery has achieved great success with wine critics such as: Wine Spectator, Robert Parker, Gambero Rosso, Luca Maroni and many others.

The vineyards extend among the hills that surround the splendid valley of the Tronto river, which thanks to its fertile soils, has always been suited to the cultivation of vines.

From the region of Marche, positioned on the East coast of Italy, Velenosi Vini has expertise and a strong passion to create true quality wines.
The Pecorino grape (not to be confused with the famous Pecorino cheese) delivers a bright straw yellow colour with greenish hues. Remarkably fresh-tasting thanks to scents of white and yellow pulp fruit and herbaceus nuances. Good structure and a lingering finish.

Excellent as an aperitif, pasta carbonara or risotto as well as white meat dishes.

Evident fruity nuances of banana, pineapple and apple along with hints of cut grass.
