THE ITALIAN COLLECTION - Gufo Primitivo Puglia IGP

About the Winery: Cantina Tollo

Cantina Tollo was founded in 1960, playing a leading role for winemaking in Abruzzo, helping to bring a radical change and modernisation in the local wine growing landscape.

The vineyards extend over an area of more than 2,700 hectares located in a typically Mediterranean climate, from the coastal hills to the slopes of the Maiella. With notable temperature fluctuations, the area offers optimal conditions for the build up of aromatic compounds, producing high quality grapes.

Their production exclusively focuses on typical and indigenous grape varieties of the region, cultivated in the traditional method on pergolas.
