Casa Gheller takes its name from an old family of wine growers who lived in Valdobbiadene, the very heart of the Prosecco area, and produced great quality wines.
In the '80s, the Moretti Polegato family, the most important wine group in the area of Prosecco, has acquired the Casa Gheller brand carrying on its tradition.
Since 2019, the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene are a World Heritage Site, the 55th Italian site recognized by Unesco. Thus the universal value of a real cultural landscape is recognized where the work of the winegrowers has helped to create a unique product that is loved around the world.

LA SICILYANA ITALIAN COLLECTION
Casa Gheller, located in the Veneto region, North East of Italy, has created this outstanding example of Prosecco, with the denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin (DOCG), the highest level of quality for Italian wines. Fresh, slightly sweet and soft on the palate, this Prosecco Spumante has a fruity and harmonious finish with a fine perlage.
Excellent as an aperitif, but also at the table to accompany seafood dishes, shellfish and soft cheeses. |
