"The best Nero d'Avola ever tasted", according to customers. A truly sophisticated wine, aged in oak barrels and produced by award-winning winery Castellucci Miano.

Nero d'Avola is a full-bodied Sicilian red wine with a bold fruit-driven taste made of hints of black cherry, plum, blackberry and violet.

The grape of Nero d'Avola (also known as Calabrese) is the most popular and widely planted red grape variety in Sicily, with its distinctive dark colour and scents of red fruit, such as plums and cherries, our Nero d’Avola has a warm and elegant structure and it is aged in oak barrels, delivering a rich and sophisticated flavour.

Nero d'Avola wine is best served with meaty dishes such as grilled steak, chicken and barbecued pork. This Sicilian red wine makes for an ideal accompaniment to meaty lasagne and aged cheeses.

Pairs with lasagne, grilled steaks or chicken or as a wonderful "meditation wine"
